CURA1 WIRELESS CURTAIN PIR SENSOR – iBeam

The iBeam wireless Curtain PIR offers versatile placement options, fitting seamlessly on the wall beside the bedhead or spanning across a doorway using a purpose-built swivel wall mount bracket. Alternatively, it can be incorporated into the Ezystand 2723 (available separately). Installation is hassle-free, allowing easy relocation between different rooms.

Featuring an On/Off switch for efficient battery management during periods of non-use, the iBeam includes a low battery indicator. It is compatible with other cura1 cordless devices and can optionally accept a plug pack for power.

Suitable for both in-home and care facility use, this device requires pairing with a Wireless Cura1 monitoring device such as the (A-CBM-02) Cordless Falls Monitor, (A-CL-MULTIPORT or A-CL-MULTIPORT-02 – facility use only) Cordless Multiport Receivers, or the (A-CURA-LED-PAGER) Active Care Pager.

With an integrated speaker, the iBeam can now function as a stand-alone (“LOCAL”) audible alarm, eliminating the need for a separate receiver. The new Pause/Reset button allows caregivers to assist without triggering the alarm and serves to reset the alarm when the audible alarm is activated.

Improvements in setup and testing include a front status LED that remains illuminated during signal transmission, enhancing visibility. The iBeam is automatically paused for 10 seconds after activation, providing caregivers with time to exit the detection zone if necessary.
